Our Leadership
Renee Green
Head Director and CEO
In 1999, my husband and I decided to open a part day in home preschool. I obtained a small home day care license and in 2001, I obtained a large license to serve more families in our community. I have director’s qualifications and a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. In 2011 our school became NAEYC accredited, and now we have over 30 programs serving families of students from preschool-5th grade. It has been an exciting journey and we plan to continue to grow and impact as many families as we can.
Kelly Tracey
Executive Director - Restoration Campus
I have over 10 years’ experience working in Early Childhood Education, an Associate degree in Accounting, and an ECE Directors Certificate. I have led classrooms from toddler to Pre-K as well as served as the Assistant Director at VCA. I am well-versed in all our curriculum as well as ACSI and NAEYC. I have two daughters, two dogs and five bunnies. On the weekends I enjoy hiking, spending time with my family and anything active. I have been a part of Valley Christian Academy for 5 years and I absolutely love working at this school and being a part of such an amazing team.
Ashley Green
Executive Director - Friendship Campus
I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 9 years and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Early Childhood Coursework, an ECE Director’s Certificate, and an ACSI Principal’s Certificate. I’ve had the privilege of leading classrooms from toddlers to Pre-K and have also served as the marketing director at VCA. I’ve worked closely with our team to develop age-appropriate, content-rich early childhood curriculum and am familiar with ACSI and NAEYC accreditation standards. While I don’t have children of my own, I do have a tortoise named Rocket! On weekends, I love spending time with friends and family and exploring all that Colorado has to offer.

I have accumulated 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, supported by Early Childhood Coursework and an ECE Directors Certificate. Over eight years, I operated my own in-home daycare, where I tought children ranging from infants to Pre-K levels. A Colorado native, I am happily married with two wonderful sons. Our family enjoys various outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking, weekend excursions on ATVs, and paddleboarding. In my leisure hours, I indulge my old-fashioned sensibilities through quilting, sewing, and crafting homemade jams.

A rainbow of friends
Our History
Founded in 1999 by our Owner and Head Director, Renee Green, Valley Christian Academy began as "A Rainbow of Friends" with just six students and a big dream in her home. Renee envisioned creating a space that combined creativity and academics to nurture future leaders. Today, our vision has flourished into a thriving community of over 200 students, 50 faculty members, and 3 locations, all dedicated to delivering exceptional education and care.
