I can’t even believe how quickly the summer has flown by, the school year starts so soon! Below are some important updates for the beginning of the school year, make sure you read through this email & let me know if you have any questions!
Enrolling for Fall
If you have not yet enrolled for the 2021-2022 school year (or if you know someone who has not enrolled yet) please get started ASAP! We have limited spaces available, and waitlists are starting to accrue for some age groups/locations. Reach out to me, Lori, or Kelly if you have questions about availability!
Gradelink
We are now using gradelink for pretty much all enrollment paperwork! If you have not yet filled out your gradelink profile, go to https://secure.gradelink.com/1970/enrollment/ . If you need to update your profile from last school year and re-enroll, go to https://secure.gradelink.com/gradelink/ .
MANDATORY Back To School Night – August 3,4,5th
We will be hosting Back to School night the week before school starts. This is an opportunity to meet teachers, see classrooms, learn more about the vision of VCA, and begin developing a community with the other families at our school! If you cannot attend this event, please let us know ahead of time.
Friendship – August 3rd at 6:00 pm
Living Hope – August 4th at 6:00 pm
Restoration – August 5th at 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00 pm
**Restoration families – 5:00 (preschool) 5:30 (pre-K) 6:00 (K-5th)
If you have more than one child enrolled at VCA, feel free to attend whichever session is easiest for your family.
First Day of School is August 9th! That’s it, just show up! 🙂
Make sure you know what program your child is signed up for and what time your school day starts (depending on the campus you attend and whether you are in Before care!)
CALLING SEASONED MAMAS!
The first day of school can be emotional and intimidating for first time moms and kids alike! We are calling for some seasoned mamas to join our Moms in Prayer team for the first day of school. After drop off, we will have some ladies available to pray with any parents who may be emotional about the first day! If you are interested in being available with Moms In Prayer, either reply to this email or reach out to El at momsinprayer@vcacolorado.com.

I’ve received several requests for the 2021-2022 calendar, and I’m pleased to say it is now available! You can access our dynamic calendar at https://www.valleychristianacademy.school/calendar/ . Please note that this calendar is subject to change, but as it is dynamic, it should update automatically. Make sure to check back regularly in case of any changes as the school year progresses!
